Dr Zoya Sharfuddin

General Paediatrician

Dr Zoya has over 10 years of experience in General Paediatrics in Australia. She is passionate about all aspects of paediatrics and is committed to providing high quality, multidisciplinary integrated care to all ages from newborns to teens.  She is caring and thorough, has great attention to details and provides care tailored to child’s specific needs following evidence-based medicine. For this, she works in close collaboration with all the contributors involved in the child’s care. She believes in individual-centered as well as family-centered care. She encourages shared decision-making and treats parents as partners to optimise the outcomes for every child. She follows a strength-based approach and advocates building resilience in children from a very young age. This is particularly important in neurodiverse children with ADHD and Autism. She is cognisant of children’s mental health issues and follows a pragmatic and holistic approach.
