For GPs and Referrers
Clear pathways and shared care
General and sub-specialty paediatrics, expedited acute appointments, and post-discharge follow-up
How to refer
Send referrals to reception by fax on (07) 3607 2450 or by email to reception@qldchildrensclinic.com.au. Email is monitored continuously 9am – 4pm, Monday to Friday.
If you are unsure which clinician suits a patient, call (07) 3184 6437 — reception can match the referral to the right paediatrician or sub-specialist.

Priority Medical Clinic
Expedited appointments for acute, non-life-threatening concerns, and follow-up after a hospital admission or Emergency Department presentation.
QCC is not an emergency service. Patients requiring emergency care should present to the Queensland Children's Hospital Emergency Department.
Onward referrals
Where needed we coordinate referrals to sub-specialists such as cardiology, sleep medicine, ophthalmology, nutrition and physiotherapy through our networks, so a patient's care stays joined up rather than restarting at each door.
Continuity during leave. Our physicians cover each other for professional development, illness and annual leave, so a referred patient is not left waiting on one clinician's calendar.
General paediatrics
Comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for children from birth to 18 years, supporting everything from routine health concerns to complex and chronic conditions. Our team of paediatricians works collaboratively with allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, holistic care across neonatal health, development and behaviour, allergy, endocrinology, rehabilitation, and adolescent health.

Allied health and nursing
Psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, midwifery and lactation consultancy, plus nurse practitioners providing autonomous high-level care in collaboration with our paediatricians.
Sub-specialty
Our clinic offers access to specialised paediatric care, including on-site paediatric rheumatology and nephrology services. Working alongside our general paediatricians and multidisciplinary allied health team, these specialists provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing management of complex medical conditions.
As Queensland Children’s Clinic continues to grow, we are committed to expanding our specialist services to meet the evolving healthcare needs of children, adolescents, and their families.
